Content Editing: After listening to your raw episode audio, we make decisions on what to cut, what to leave in, and what to reorder based on the theme of your podcast as well as the theme of your episode, the arc of the storyline, the relevance of the material, the pacing, and the intended length of the episode. When we finish the content and audio edit, we send the episode back to you for review. If you have any changes you’d like us to make to the content, we ask that you please let us know by specifying the exact timecode in either the finished or raw audio of the section you’d like us to add back in, remove, or move around so that there is no confusion.
Show notes are an essential part of a podcast. Often times, show notes are what catch the attention of a listener and persuade them to click on an episode. They guide listeners by telling them what they should expect in an episode and lead them to connect with your website, product, and social media accounts.
HOW IT WORKS: Our show notes are comprised of three components: 1) an episode summary, 2) time stamps, and 3) outbound links. After listening to your episode, we’ll craft a 2-4 paragraph summary (200 – 500 words). Then, we’ll add time stamps so listeners can easily find episode highlights. Finally, we’ll add outbound links, such as you or your guest’s social media accounts, websites, products, or any other resources mentioned in the episode.
Let us create a custom audiogram template designed specifically for your podcast. An audiogram is an image, a brief audio clip, and a moving wavelength combined together to create a short video. Think of it as an easy to share, visual sneak peek of your episode. In fact, audiograms are perfect promotional content to use on any of your social media platforms.
HOW IT WORKS: We’ll pull a short (30-60 second) snippet from your audio. Then, based off your podcast logo, colors, or graphics, we’ll create an eye-catching image. It could contain a picture of your guest, your episode title, and/or your podcast logo. We’ll work with you to create the perfect template and, when it’s complete, we’ll send you a MP4 file that you can upload to your website or social media platforms.
Search engine optimized images are a great way for listeners to notice your podcast, become intrigued, and want to click on an episode. Our images focus on your color scheme and logo to provide consistency in branding while also introducing listeners to what they can expect in your latest episode, such as your guest or theme.
HOW IT WORKS: We’ll create 5 SEO optimized images per episode that you can use on your website and social media platforms. We’ll tailor the image specs to fit your needs whether that be a feature image for your website, an image for a Facebook post or Instagram story, or images for blog posts. We can even animate elements of your images to give them a bit of extra flare and make them stand out amongst the crowd.
With basic transcription, we transcribe your episode verbatim. For clarity, we add in each speaker’s name before they speak, the title of the podcast, and the episode title and number. Once complete, we’ll send you a word document of your polished and accurate episode transcription.
Audio description comes with everything basic transcription has plus we add in descriptions of elements in your podcast that wouldn’t normally be transcribed. Similar to television captions, we might add in something like [upbeat pop song plays], [host leaves table in search of … ], [guest strums guitar], [advertisement], [door creaks open], [wind and birds chirping]. Audio description works best with narrative storytelling, but can be a great asset for any type of podcast. For example, audio description works well for podcasts with a lot of physical movement that isn’t described in words, podcasts with a lot of sound effects, or podcasts with distinct music that specifically adds to the story-telling.
